I Heart Apple Strudel

We adore apple desserts especially my Beyond The Yum Deep-Dish Apple Pie which Jay says is “the only REAL apple pie evah!” (it’s the crust he likes best) so I create lots of apple cobblers, pies, turnovers, pastries and related with the key ingredient APPLES!   Apple season in the valley gives us many delish apple varieties to try in our recipes.

Like most chefs, I use every tool at my disposal and that includes tweaking easy recipes too.  This is another variation of my Apple Strudel recipe with French pastry and much like the recipe of the pie with the exception it uses puff pastry.  It is one of the recipes on my forthcoming eBook.  If you want to try it, use my pie recipe above for this strudel or for an easier quick one, the puff pastry link below and delight your heart with strudel this weekend.  We  ♥ ♥ apples.  YUM!
